Ashley Tyner is a writer, filmmaker working to center marginalized voices in the worlds of art and culture. She writes and produces across editorial, audio, and video formats, with a focus on designing editorial experiences that translate into community events and service-driven initiatives. Now Director of Communications at Monument Lab, she formerly served as Culture Editor at i-D Magazine Special Projects Editor for GARAGE Magazine. Ashley studied literature at Middlebury College and Columbia University.
William Tyner is an anthropologist, filmmaker, and UX Researcher at Google. William is also the recipient of the 2018-2019 Fulbright-National Geographic Digital Storytelling Fellowship where he studied the intersection of civil society and technology in post-communist Romania. William studied Cultural Anthropology at Wesleyan University in Connecticut.

Michael Tyner is an acclaimed producer and director known for his award-winning documentary films. He made his directorial debut with Malcolmology, a nationally broadcast six-part documentary series based on Dr. Manning Marable’s Pulitzer Prize-winning biography Malcolm X: A Life of Reinvention. Tyner has served as a producer consultant on several projects, including Netflix’s 2020 docu-series Who Killed Malcolm X? As Director of Development and Production at La Lutta Productions, Tyner has overseen the creation of numerous documentaries, including Frank Serpico(Hulu) and American Masters: Roberta Flack, which premiered on PBS and continues to screen globally. Tyner’s latest documentary feature, The People’s Way follows Jeanelle Austin, Robin Wonsley, and Toshira Garraway, three Black women in Minneapolis who embark on interweaving journeys to care for their communities and find inner healing in the wake of George Floyd’s murder.
